Globe/Boston.com ignores first day of practice

Entering a season with plenty storylines, you'd think the Globe would put something up on the start of practice. Yet there's nothing. I know space can be an issue for the print edition, but there is no reason Boston.com doesn't have something.

Fortunately the Herald delivered. Conroy wrote a "Five Questions" piece that satiates the diehards and gets the casual BC fan up to speed.

Bill, what kind of coverage does Georgia Tech receive in the Atlanta Journal compared to the Boston Globe?

As long as the Globe and the Red Sox are both (partially) owned by the New York Times Co., you can expect the Globe and boston.com to be completely Red Sox centered, to the detriment of coverage of other teams. That's just business.
