Soccer stuff and other links

The men's soccer team takes on Clemson in the ACC tournament Wednesday afternoon.

The women's soccer team will host Central Connecticut in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Musburger and Herbstreit will call Saturday night's game against Florida State. The coverage map should be out later today. I think those of you in Big XII markets will have to watch Colorado-OK State.

Florida State is doing the Black Out thing again. How did that work last time?

Fred McGriff's son has interest in BC.

Surprised to see that we're getting Gameday this week. Actually, they claim that they'll be down there for Hampton-Florida A&M, but Musberger and Herbstreit aren't announcing that game. Let's face it, though, this is a crappy week for college football matchups (our Eagles excluded, perpetually). Might as well highlight two of the greatest marching bands in America: The Force (Hampton) and The Marching 100 (FAMU). I'd watch that game just for the halftime shows.

i'm scared for the fsu game, not just because of their overall team speed (which bc always struggles with) but also because i think it will be an especially rowdy crowd. it will probably be a close game that will come down to kicking and well...

Oatesforthree: I went to Doak in 2006. It is a tough place but not nearly as rowdy as Clemson or Virginia Tech. I don't think it will be an issue. As Norcal said speed will be.

Crane's most intimidating environment so far has been....

I guess it was UNC at a noon game in an empty stadium, outside of that it's probably his home games when he consistently gets booed.

Are we recruiting Tom Emansky's kid, too?
